The high pressure valves of our product range are made with the highest quality materials and with international standards. They can be two, three or five ways; we can also classify them as needle, ball, check and relief valves.

The ball high pressure valve can be two-way or three-way and for the following pressure ranges:

  • 690 bar (10,000 psi)
  • 1050 bar (15,000 psi)
  • 1500 bar (21,000 psi)

The connections of this type of high pressure valve are BSP, NPT, MP (Medium pressure) and HP (High pressure).

The high-pressure two-way ball valve is available in ¼, 3/8 and ½ “holes and is capable of conducting liquids or gases up to 1500 bar of pressure. The rotation of its 90º crank allows full flow capabilities with a minimum pressure drop. The robust one-piece Trunnion style eliminates flaws that can be found in two-piece valves. The sphere seats are manufactured in Torion, providing excellent sealing capabilities with low operating torque.

The re-torqueable glands in the seats provide a long service life and high reliability. The standard seals of these valves are FKM o-rings that support up to 150° C, but we have other seals available as an option.

3-way ball valves have two designs:

  • The 180 ° switching valve, which is designed so that fluid enters through the lower port and flow can be directed to any of the side connections. The valve can be closed in the center position “Off”.
  • The 90 ° diverter valve, designed so that the fluid enters through the lower port and the flow can be directed to any lateral position. There is no “Off” central position in this valve design.

The high pressure needle valve is manufactured for the following pressure ranges:

  • 1050 bar with NPT connections and sizes from ¼ to 1 “NPT or BSP
  • 1550 bar with Medium Pressure (MP) connections from ¼ to 1 “
  • 2500 bar with High Pressure (HP) connections from ¼ “up to 9/16”
  • 4500 bar with High Pressure (HP) connections from ¼ “to 9/16”
  • 7000 bar with High Pressure (HP) connections from ¼ “up to 9/16”
  • 15,000 bar with Ultra High Pressure (UHP) connections in 9/16 “

Needle valves with metal-metal seating have a high level of safety and reliability under adverse operating conditions. These valves can be used with gases and liquids.

Special designs for extreme temperatures.

The standard valves have Teflon / graphite gaskets and can be operated up to 230° C but we have options for high temperature or cryogenic applications as shown below:

  • TG.- Standard valve with Teflon gaskets for 315° C
  • GY.-Standard valve with graphite gaskets for 425° C
  • HT.-Extended stem valve with graphite gaskets for 650° C
  • B.-Standard valve with Teflon and cryogenics compounds for -73° C
  • LT.- Extended stem valve and cryogenics packaging for -252° C

The high pressure valve can be manufactured in different alloys such as stainless steel 316, Inconel, Monel or Hastelloy depending on the application and chemical compatibility with fluids.

Valves are available with pneumatic or electric actuators normally open or closed. The pneumatic actuators only open and close the passage of the valve but with the electric actuators it is possible to regulate the flow of the valve when a needle valve is used with the electric actuator.
In the case of ball valves the actuators can only be used to open and close the ball valve.

Check valves:

Check valves provide directional flow control and do not allow reverse flow. There are two types of check valve:

  • O-ring check valve. They provide high quality flow control and a perfect seal for liquids and gases. The rupture pressure is approximately 1.5 bar and can be found in the following options:
    • 1050 bar with ¼ “to 1” NPT connections
    • 1550 bar with Medium Pressure (MP) connections from ¼ “up to 1”
    • 4500 bar with High Pressure (HP) connections from ¼ “to 9/16”
  • Ball check valve. They prevent a reverse flow. These valves are designed to allow full flow around the sphere to minimize the drop of pressure. They can withstand up to 350° C and are in the following options:
    • 1050 bar with ¼ “to 1” NPT connections
    • 1550 bar with Medium Pressure (MP) connections from ¼ “up to 1”
    • 4500 bar with High Pressure (HP) connections from ¼ “to 9/16”
    • 7000 bar with Ultra High Pressure (UHP) connections from ¼ to 9/16 HP
    • or 15,000 bar with Ultra High Pressure (UHP) connections of 9/16 HP

Relief valves:

These valves have been designed to act on the systems as a safety element to prevent overpressure. We have them available at the following pressures:

  • 690 bar with 1/4 “NPT connections
  • 1725 bar with high pressure (HP) connections ¼”
  • 2500 bar with high pressure connections (HP) from ¼ to 3/8
  • 4500 bar with High Pressure (HP) connections from ¼ to 3 / 8
